Pixel FX Firmware Download
Each device firmware is specially packaged into a .fx file published thru Pixel FX Firmware Download. Upon visiting the download site, there are four dropdowns to choose from: Product, Version, Device ID, and Console.
- Product relates to all active and legacy Pixel FX devices in descending order of release.
- Version specifies all available firmware values in descending order starting with immediate branches for main and preview.
- Device ID is synonymous with a 32 character universally unique identifier (UUID) of a Pixel FX device, excluding legacy.
- Console is limited only to Retro GEM and pinpoints the console type in ascending order of release.
Example A) If I were to download the latest main firmware for Morph 4K, then I would have the following choices:
- Product: Morph 4K
- Version: main
- Device ID: < ID shown on my Morph 4K >
- Console: Not needed for Morph 4K
Example B) If I were to download a prior firmware for PS2 Retro GEM, then I would have the following choices:
- Product: Retro GEM
- Version: 3.15.13
- Device ID: < ID shown on my Retro GEM >
- Console: PS2
